A well-established downtown Minneapolis law firm is seeking a Business Litigation Associate with 3+ years of substantive litigation experience to join our dynamic and collaborative team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to work directly with clients, and handle meaningful, complex commercial disputes.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage and contribute to all phases of business litigation matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery responses.
• Conduct legal research and provide strategic analysis.
• Take and defend depositions, argue motions, and attend court hearings.
• Work closely with partners on case strategy and client communication.
• Support trial preparation and participate in arbitration and mediation proceedings.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Minimum 3 years of litigation experience, preferably in business or commercial disputes.
• Strong writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.
• Experience with depositions, motion practice, and courtroom appearances is preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Licensed to practice law in Minnesota (or eligible for immediate admission).
